In the captivating world of fine jewelry, authenticity is the cornerstone of true value. As a discerning consumer, you deserve to have complete confidence in the gems that adorn your most cherished pieces. This is where the GRA (Gemological Research Associates) certificate plays a pivotal role, ensuring the genuineness and provenance of your Moissanite jewelry.
What is a GRA Certificate?

A GRA certificate is a comprehensive document that provides a detailed analysis and verification of the Moissanite stone in your jewelry. This certificate is issued by the Gemological Research Associates, a respected and independent gemological laboratory, known for its rigorous testing and evaluation processes.
The GRA certificate serves as a unique identifier for your Moissanite stone, with a distinct inscription and number engraved directly on the girdle of the gem. This inscription is a testament to the stone's authenticity, allowing you to trace its origins and ensure its legitimacy.
The Importance of a GRA Certificate
In a world where imitations and counterfeit goods can be difficult to detect, a GRA certificate offers unparalleled peace of mind. By providing a comprehensive report on the Moissanite's characteristics, including its cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, the certificate empowers you to make informed purchasing decisions and safeguard your investment.
Authenticity Verification
The GRA certificate is your assurance that the Moissanite in your jewelry is genuine and not a synthetic or simulated stone. This certification verifies the stone's natural origin, ensuring that you are the proud owner of a rare and exceptional gem.
Resale Value
Owning a Moissanite with a GRA certificate can significantly enhance its resale value. Potential buyers will recognize the stone's authenticity and be more inclined to trust the provenance of the jewelry, making it a more valuable asset in the long run.
What microscopic inscription verification looks like
At Moisza, we verify moissanite inscriptions at a microscopic level and pair each piece with proper documentation, so customers can purchase with confidence—not assumptions.
Confidence in Your Purchase

This level of assurance is invaluable, as it allows you to fully enjoy the beauty and brilliance of your Moissanite without any doubts or concerns.

Clarification on GRA Number Registration
GRA numbers are assigned and registered at the time the gemstone is created and do not require buyer registration.
The GRA number allows buyers to verify the gemstone’s details online (digital record). These details correspond to the physical certificate and card (hard copy) provided with the jewelry item. The unique GRA number is printed on the girdle of the gemstone and can be viewed using a 30× microscope.
Please note that different GRA centres maintain their own databases; therefore, not all GRA numbers can be verified through a single public website. Buyers should use the official verification website printed on the certificate or scan the QR code provided to verify the gemstone’s details.
If you have any questions regarding your certificate or gemstone details, we encourage you to contact the seller directly for assistance.

January 28, 2026@ Ehsan,
Thanks for your message!
If you have the corresponding GRA certificate, you can easily check the carat weight by entering the unique GRA number on the website listed on the certificate.
If the certificate is not available, the gemstone does still have a laser-inscribed number, but it can only be seen under a 30× microscope. Even then, without the certificate, the number may not always link you to the correct online website with full product details.
Another option is to have the gemstone measured manually using a professional jewelry scale and ruler, which a local jeweller can usually help with. Let us know if you’d like any assistance—we’re happy to help 😊

Thank you for your message. With the unique numbers on your GRA certificates, there’s no need to register them separately. These numbers are laser-inscribed on the gemstones and are used to verify the gemstone details through the official GRA online database.
Simply visit the website listed on your certificate and enter the GRA number to view the report details. Let us know if you need any help! 😊
